HxGN Geocloud

HxGN GeoCloud is a cloud-based collaboration portal for measurement professionals offering a variety of services for optimizing work- and dataflows. The HxGN GeoCloud is powered by HxDR, Hexagon’s cloud-native platform for geospatial solutions at any scale.

All users are identified by their myWorld ID, which grants access to the service itself and the data on the cloud storage. They can access the cloud storage via the Desktop Synchronisation App, a Web App or Leica Captivate.

Aside from cloud storage, HxGN GeoCloud empowers a file-sharing service within Leica Captivate. When exporting data within Leica Captivate, the user can optionally share the exported data with an email address. The exported data will be uploaded to a temporary cloud storage and the download link to the data is sent to the email address. The download link is valid for 7 days. The file sharing can be used without an HxGN GeoCloud subscription or myWorld ID.

GeoCloud Drive replaces the Leica Exchange service, enabling a convenient transition for current Leica Exchange customers. Both services will run for one year in parallel.
